So far, so good

We moved in at the end of August this year. you can hear some stuff from the upper & side apartments, but nothing unusual. We love our apartment location in the complex, and we DEFINITELY love our location as far as getting around. It couldn't be better! all in all, we're very happy here!

Take the ROAD HOME to Hawthorne at the Green

Great place to live!

Beautiful Apartment homes. We thoroughly enjoy living here. The Apartment Managers, Tonya, Earica, and Kevin are all amazing and go out of their way for you! They know you by a first name basis, and genuinely care about their tenants! The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and the grills are always stocked with propane. We have never used the pool (we find pools in general to be gross) but it looks stunning. The maintenance gentlemen are also wonderful, and any issues, (which are rare) are resolved with the utmost priority. They often have monthly fun and exciting tenant parties (with food and drink provided), which if you're new to Charlotte, is a great way to meet people! Its a great location too, close to 485, but further enough away that you aren't fighting/hearing traffic. I'd highly recommend living here.

Property Based Review

I think Hawthorne At the Greene is the next best thing to owning a home. They keep the community clean and tenants are made aware of any crimes throughout! Not to mention how the apartment homes feel like home and the workers are humble and caring...Who could ask for more? 100%

Great place to live

I had a great experience living at Hawthorne at the Greene. This was the first apartments that I lived in by myself and there was never a time where I felt unsafe or unwelcome.My puppy and I feel comfortable taking walks or playing in the dog park. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to make sure my needs are met. When my refrigerator light went out (which was the only issue I ever had) the staff fixed the issue that same day or the next. I enjoyed the community. Everyone that I have met here has been so kind. The first day that I moved in, my neighbors were there to welcome me. I would definitely recommend Hawthorne at the Greene as a place to live.

New Resident

After being here almost 2 months, I feel I can give a fair review. Apartments are beautiful inside and out. Buildings are quiet and I sometimes wonder if I actually have neighbors!! The only negativesI have are fairly simple and not a deterrent by any means. When I made my first rent payment, an email was sent regarding a payment app to pay online. Instead of reviewing the resident login to see options to pay, I went with the app and was charged a $15.00 processing fee. I wish that would have been explained in a little more detail when going over my lease, like I said no biggie. There is a credit card payment through the resident portal that does not charge a fee :). My next hiccup is the laundry center, I assumed that quarters were still used and purchased a roll of quarters to find out cards are used now. I had to wait until the next day to get cash to purchase the laundry card, once again not a big deal. Just small details that I would have liked to be made aware of. Unfortunately my apartment faces a semi busy street and the noise from the traffic at times prevents me from leaving my windows or balcony door open. This will be something I will keep a look out for in the future. Nothing that is unbearable unless a motorcycle or large truck speeds by. The last issue, is parking in my area. If you are not home by probably 10-11 pm you will not find a space close to the building. There is an option to pay for a parking space up front however I don't mind not parking directly in front, just when I am 2-3 buildings away. I am not sure why there seems not be enough parking, as people park along the curb or in front of garages. This is an issue as it can block someone in, however a notice was sent regarding curb parking. Besides those few minor issues, I am glad to call Hawthorne home. If my rent stays pretty reasonable I wouldn't mind making Hawthorne my home for the next 2-3 years! The staff is great and I feel safe in this community.
